Terms
Terms of Service
The straightforward terms that apply when you book our professional organising services.
About us
These terms apply to the services provided by In Order (“we”, “us”, “our”), a professional organising service based in London. By booking a consultation or service with us, you agree to these terms. You can contact us any time at info@in-order.co.uk.
Our services
We provide professional organising and space-optimisation services for homes, offices, warehouses and storage spaces. The exact scope of each project is agreed with you in advance, following a free consultation.
Consultations and quotes
Your initial consultation is free and carries no obligation. After it, we confirm a written quote based on the work discussed. Our prices are shown as a guide “from” rate; your final quote is confirmed before any work begins.
Materials and purchases
If your project needs storage products or materials, we will agree these with you first. The cost of any materials we buy on your behalf is added to your quote and is your responsibility.
Payment
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is due on completion of the work. Gift vouchers are paid for at the time of purchase. Payments are handled securely by Teya.
Booking, changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a confirmed booking, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone else. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a charge, which we will always discuss with you first.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, can be redeemed against any of our services, and are not exchangeable for cash. Any unused balance remains on the voucher. Simply quote the code when booking.
Your responsibilities
To help your project run smoothly, we ask a few things. Please give us safe access to the space, tell us about any hazards in advance, and point out or remove any valuables or items of special importance. Decisions about what to keep, donate, recycle or throw away always stay with you. We organise and advise, but we will not throw anything away without your agreement.
Liability
We take great care in your space and treat your belongings with respect. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or for items not disclosed to us. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here, with its “last updated” date, is the one that applies.
